In Lækjarbotnar above Lögbergbrekka there is a Waldorf School and a Waldorf kindergarten. More specifically in Seldalur at the foot of Selfjall. The school's new Smithy was put into use in late 2010, but until then an old chicken coop had been used that had been converted into a small forge in 2006. The building of the smithy was a turning point for the small school and it suits it particularly well in the valley, surrounded by trees and tranquility.
